    Firefox help?

    Hey all,

I had a computer that had Vista on it and upgraded to W7 a few weeks ago; I had absolutely no problems with Firefox after downloading it, or any of the add-ons. All seemed fine, but the computer was a lemon... the hardware pretty much fried itself 3x in 5 months. I finally got the store to take it back and they gave me a new computer.

This computer came with W7 and is "optimized" for it, apparently. I'm not a fan of IE, however, and when I tried download Firefox, I'm having all kinds of problems.

For instance, I can only launch one browser at a time... if I have one open and try to launch a second, no dice. If I try to open a link in a new window, nothing happens.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled three times now, to no avail. I've tried opening in safe mode, nada.

From what I understand, there's a new version of FF that just came out in the past few days. Does anyone know if it's having serious conflicts with W7? I wouldn't mind having the older version, I just don't know how to find it.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanx,
    Jamie

Actually, I just found an older version on the Mozilla site. I installed it and voila -- no more problems! Hope this helps someone else...
