Why i cant browse on youtube like streaming sites!!!?

i dun know what is going on with my laptop and dsl...whenever i try to run any streaming site say for example, youtube, the streaming goes fine for sometime and then all of sudden,it goes slow slow n then stops,on any video...n when i stop all internet activity,i see in my DU meter, and i see my full internet speed is being used, like something is being downloaded....this does not happen always,it happens only when i go on any streaming site like youtube as i said....
i have bitdefender antivirus installed and fully updated and besides zonealarm firewall,so i cant expect that i have some Trojan, malware or any such thing....
when this happens, eventually to stop this undue usage of speed,i have to stop INTERNET activity by applying internet lock of zone alarm, cuz otherwise it will keep going....
i dun know what is it,can anyone please help me...
    i have windows7 x64..

If this only happens when you are on video streaming sites I have run into this problem before it might be a combination of a few things. First try turning off your zone alarm then try watching the video's if that's a no go then I would try to uninstall and reinstall your NIC card I know it sounds weird but I have seen in the past the NIC card will pull a lot of the network activity to a crawl. You also said something about Malware I would download and run Malwarebytes and run it. you can get it off download.com. :)

    Hope this helps.

i am myself amazed what can be possible cause,i even scanned with bitdefender and it found no infections...

I have the same issue. I downloaded the new Flash and it didn't fix the issue at all.
    Any ideas?!
    Thanks!

Type device manager in search. Then in Device Managerl, look for your graphics card. Make sure that the driver is up to date. While in there, look for any drivers that may need replacement.

How is your internet connection, otherwise?
