| | IE8 (or any IE for that matter) is not a very good browser. IE has a tendency to become sluggish over time. Not to mention cluttered with toolbars. Opera is an excellent alternative. It is very fast (faster than FF and IE), and has really cool features. Unite would be my favorite along with built-in IRC and torrent clients.
