Help With Web Page Display

I just upgraded to windows 7, and I am really enjoying it.

I have one issue however. I want my web pages to spread out across my widescreen monitor.

The background of the website stretches across the screen, but the part of the website that would normally be viewed is crunched together and centered.

I added a picture.

Thanks

This is normal behaviour and cannot be changed. It is controlled by the website designer. They have established a maximum resolution that they want their website to be seen in, which is smaller than your maximum resolution.

Websites are designed for what is best for the majority of people. As more and more people switch to large screen monitors less and less websites will cause the problem that you describe. I have the same problem with Bank of America. I have everything compressed on the left side of the screen. I can adjust the resolution and it looks great, but then the other websites are rather shabby.
