    Chrome jump lists. Please help.

I installed the new Chrome beta on 2 new computers today and it has jump lists. However, my Chrome beta does not have them. I am using Windows 7, 32-bit, just like the other two computers. I am also running the exact same version of Chrome as the other two computers. Why doesn't my Chrome have jump lists but the other two do? It is quite upsetting :'(

    Hi wyldstallyns258, Welcome to SF,

Unfortunately Chrome won't support Aero Peek Preview in Chrome. It would just show one Tab even you have multiple tabs are open. According to Google Chrome they might have a release soon. If you have Chrome 4.0.266 it would show the preview for one Tab.

    Hope this helps

I think you confused the two (Aero Peek and Jumplists). Jumplists have nothing to do with Aero Peek.

wyldstallyns258, it does this to me as well. I've submitted a bug report with Chrome regarding this, they don't even know why its doing that. Best bet is to wait and keep Chrome updated.

Maybe i'll try reinstalling chrome? I mean, it isn't a big deal really, it just makes no sense why i'm on 7 with a program that supports jump lists but i don't have them.

You can try, but I'm installed Chrome on many clean installs of 7 on this laptop. Only once has it enabled Jumplist.

I just reinstalled Chrome. No jump lists. This is weird. I'm going to be putting 7 on two more computers in the next week. We'll see if they have jump lists.

I also may do a clean install of 7 on my machine. I did an upgrade from Vista and I haven't done a clean install in almost 3 years.

just clean installed 7 on two more machines. Chrome has jump lists on those too. Maybe it is an issue with upgrading?

Maybe. But that wouldn't explain why I have no jumplists, I always do clean installs. :|

I guess it is just a coincidence then. This is really weird. I can't find a solution anywhere.

Magically, Chrome now has jumplists on my computer even though I did absolutely nothing.
