Anyone with IE crashes randomly I thought it was just my computer with random ie crashes but if you want a real eye opener go over to look at whats your reliability index and start looking at the logs. Id say Microsoft and us have a problem here. Even some of the big boys here have a problem, so if these guys have a problem then what about the lower ranks. Would someone let Microsoft know so that something can be done. | My System Specs |

Yeah, this is just MS bashing for bashing sake. The vast majority (and that's 100s of millions) of IE users are using IE with no problems at all. And I note the vast majority of problems associated with IE are actually caused by misbehaving or conflicting add-ons and plug-ins, or connectivity/network issues, and not IE itself. Anyone with big problems is probably using a corrupted OS, and should try to repair. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |

While I agree that Windows 7 is great, the OP was talking about Internet Explorer - what version, however, is anyone's guess. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number BrightWorks Systems B4 OS Windows 7 Profession 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7-860 Quad Motherboard Gigabyte P55-UD4P Memory Mushkin 4x2Gb PC12800 Graphics Card Gigabyte GTX260 896Mb Sound Card Integrated 7.1 HD Dolby Monitor(s) Displays 2 Samsung 2220wm-HAS 22" Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 | 1680 x 1050 Keyboard MS Wireless Comfort 5000 Mouse MS Wireless 5000 PSU Corsair TX-750W Case Ultra M998 Cooling OEM Hard Drives WD HE 1Tb Internet Speed Cable and pretty darn fast |

I have tried others and I plan to stay with what I have. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |

Here's my take on the browser issue. Notice my avatar, but I am not a die-hard fan like some I know...
IE8: fast, compatible
FF: decently fast, customizable, more compatible than Chrome. Customizability contributes to slowness.
Chrome: Very fast, lightweight, not much overhead. Not compatible with some sites. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel i7 2600K OC'd @ 4620 MHz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro Memory 16GB GSkill Sniper 2133 Mhz (4x4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked+ Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 2x Acer S273HLbmii 27" Screen Resolution 2 x 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK320 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK320 (wireless) PSU Corsair HW Series 750w (modular) Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition Cooling CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, 3x 230mm + 1x 140mm case fans Hard Drives 64GB Crucial M4 SSD

I would try chrome, heard only great things, but even as you mentioned, not compatible with all sites. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 Anyone with IE crashes randomly problems?
