Windows 7: Delete email account

I don't want to receive my email at Hot Mail any more. How can I delete this account, or better yet, just delete my entire Windows Live account?

Just don't log in anymore.

After 120 days no log-in the account is closed if that is still valid

Go to control panel In control you will see program and features In programs and featurs there is windows live essentials. Just delete and "poof" it gone. Be advised, if you installed any other WLE, like messenger they may be gone, too. Then you have to reinstall them. After any uninstall, defrag. Before you uninstall make a system image, in case things go wrong. We both know that they usually do.

allso you can get rid of the left overs from messenger. go and change view folder options and tick show hidden folders then go to c\Users\*******\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Messenger
c\Users\*******\AppData\Loca\Temp\MessengerCache
and delet the leftovers hope that helps
