Internet but no websites?

I have a wired internet connection and am on the internet (says so and successful cmd pings to google etc) but none of my browers will open internet sites. They just sit there loading the page. (firefox, chrome, IE8 and safari)

When I try ipconfig/renew I get an error saying it was unable to contact DHCP server. Request timed out. The router is working fine for wireless and other wired connections so I'm not sure what the issue is... Anyone have any ideas? It was working fine before I left for Christmas holidays.
