Repair Windows Live Mail

Hello

I was trying to put in WindowsMail and screwed up Live Mail. Now it won't work.

Is there any way that I can repair it, re-install the original files?

I've tried everything, but no luck.

Also

When I had it open, I found that each of my email accounts came out seperately. I had 3 email accounts, so I had 3 In boxes.

How can I get all messages in one In Box?

Thanks!

Back up everything. Go to control panel Go to program and features Go to live essentials. Uninstall, then install again.

After you are installed Bring up Windows Live Mail. Go to file. Go to export Go to import from a file.

Remember back up everything first.

Thanks for the tip

I uninstalled, but cannot install Windows LIve Mail from the Micorosft site.. it says there's something wrong.

BTW

In the new version, all my email accounts are displayed seperately. I'd like to have all the emails from all my different email addresses together. So all in emails would be in one In box - do you know how I can do this?

Thanks

For the second part of your question

All in one box?

Right click on Quick Views, upper left. Then click on select quick views, then check All Inbox. You can select or unselect any other view according to your preference.

Hope that you enjoy.

One more question!

I managed to import files from WindowsMail to WindowsLiveMail.

But

Only half the folders were loaded, although I imported from the whole folder from WindowsMail

They've been stuck in Imported folder.

When I try to highlight them all and drag them into the In box.. they won't go.

This seems very strange.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies

Managed to Import my old messages - they were all over the place.

But, when I tried to move them into the All In folder, found that it wasn't an optino when I Right Clicked into the moving menu.

I tried dragging them into the All In folder, but no luck - no drag and drop.

Do you know a way to transfer all my files to All In, All Send etc.

Many thanks!
