The problem is sometimes when Adobe Flash updates itself it will be unable to delete last version.
So you will end-up with two versions and it will be confusion and trouble.
And normal Unisntall process only uninstalls new version leaving old version.
So The problem will continue to happen even after reinstall.
Personally I would recommend users to download and install:
Download - Personal (PSI) - Vulnerability Scanning - Secunia.com
It's a program which will check if your programs are up-todate.
(you can turn it off from Real-time monitoring)
Actually this was the program with help of what I discovered that I had two instances of Adobe Flash myself :P (one old and one new)
But it's not something like "must have".
It's just program if you are interested on it.
