    windows live mail

I would think this should be easy, but I am stumped. For whatever reason, when I send an email out to others, my name appears as Jim urbel, not Jim Wurbel. The W is no where to be found. I have checked my registration info, my contact info and it is correct. Where do I go to edit this?

    Thanks for any help.

    Jim

I must be the tool. when I open up windows mail, the tool bar on top doesn't show a tools area to click on. What am I missing?

Windows mail or Windows live mail? They are different. WLM is for this OS.

If you have WLM, you may want to unistall and download again. You may be corrupt your mail client appears to be different than mine and I have WLM.

If you want windows mail, I believe there are tweeks that can be done, so it performs properly in 7. But as far as I am concerned WLM is just as good or better. I have used both.

To you two who replied, I am deeply grateful. Once using the Atlt key, I was able to find the "tools" category and worked my way through it from there. I am running WLM for what it is worth. Thanks again.

Live Mail seems ok, I mean well comming from express - XP.
With the right settings you can Pop.mail a gmail account or use imap if you have email from a cpanel host for example. Word of caution on imap - holy wow with the folders if you select them all. I slabbed that account and started over.
