Windows 7: Shading or color in Outlook

Shading or color in Outlook

I think this is a Windows 7 theme sort of question.

In Outlook, in the Inbox, when I select a folder, the background is blue. Then when I select a message, the background is blue and the folder is barely grey/shaded. Then when I click inside the message, the message background turns barely grey/shaded.
Similarly, in Contacts, in detailed cards, the name of the contact is barely grey/shaded.

I want the barely grey/shaded portion to be darker.

I have right clicked on the desktop and proceeded to "Personalize" I then click on "Windows color". Then I click on "Advanced appearance settings". Here I can change all sorts of things. But not what I described above.

I suspect that answer may be to try different themes until I find one that does what I need.

Thanks in advance!

I solved it. It is the "3D objects" setting under the advanced settings.

Thanks,
