Installed Windows Mail but when I start from my pinned shortcut on super bar I get this. I unclick ask everytime but keeps coming back. Nothing wrong so far when click on run it does work fine. Just would like to do away with this unknown file prompt?

Digger Thanks for reply. This is Windows Mail not live mail. I used a tutorial by MrGrimm to install today. Maybe I should have posted this problem in that tut.

I don't have that problem but maybe that's because I have UAC disabled or maybe something else is the cause, could you try taking ownership of the Mail folder you downloaded to see if that helps.

With the greatest repect for Mr. Grimm's easy to follow tutorial. It is just as easy to install Window live (which includes Windows Live mail). Maybe there would be some disagreement here, but I think it is a superior program anyway.
That's OK Dave, every one is entitled to there opinion and everyone has there own personal preference and that's why I made the Tutorial, it's not because it's better, it's just because some people prefer Windows Mail.

Mr Grimm - I just upgraded to Windows 7, but cannot take ownership of Windows Mail. Also I only see folders titled "Windows Mail" in Programs Files and Program Files(x86); there is not "Windows 7 Mail". Perhaps it is not possible to do this anymore?? Also, are all my email messages from Windows Mail (from Vista) lost?
