Does anyone use Windows Live Email?

Dell Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E7500 Computer
    Inspirion 545s 00
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    6GB Memory
    750GB Hard Drive

I use Windows Live Mail for my email client. Is there a way from within the program to click on something and have mail come down the pike again?

As of yet, I've not found a way and in order for new mail to come in, I must exit program and go back in.

Any ideas on this please, would be appreciated.

    Thank you

If you click on "sync" it will do the send/receive function again. You should see "sync" on the toolbar. You may need to go to "view" and enable the toolbar.

It has been so long since I have used any Windows email client, that I wouldn't have any suggestion...except using a third party client. There are plenty of good clients, both free and paid.

    Hi Windsorlady:)

You can simply click on the "Inbox" button whilst in the program and it will reload and download new mail for you.

You have all helped me. I really do like Windows Live mail -- it's the closest thing to Outlook Express that I've seen. Thanks for all your help.

Now -- 1 more question (to V3xar) --- how did you get the picture embedded into the post (or attached)? I wanted to include a graphic in another post and couldn't find a way. Know it's there!

    Thanks again.

Thanks again -- I went and tried both methods and they all work for me. I didn't realize I was bringing in new mail already by clicking on things (LOL). Appreciate you!!

Glad you got the problem sorted out.

Regarding the embedding of pics, have a look here :A Preferred Method of Uploading/Posting Screen Shots

    Have a good day!
