    Chrome 2 (beta)

Hi guys', sorry if this one has already been covered but thought that it deserved a mention as I know some of you use chrome as browser of choice. The UI hasn't changed and neither has the way it bookmarks etc etc. Its main improvement (believe it or not) is the speed it now renders pages and tabs at. It also searches for sites as you type, something chrome one didn't .Apparently it uses the same engine as safari 4 and is also being prepared for the use of plugins like firefox. I don't have much use for any extra plugins as I find a browsers own tools etc are sufficient enough so have not got any other browser other than chrome 2 and IE 8 (which I dont use unless I have to eg downloading fom ms). Ive been using it for several hours now and its been really solid and stable so hopefully that trend will continue.

Mods: delete this thread if it has already been covered.

Just installed it, quite fast. Minefield IMHO though it a lot better than Chrome. Chrome just doesn't look very nice and the plugins aren't there yet.

If we are talking about Google Chrome 2.0.170.0 then I have been using it, and previous versions without problems.
