    Mozilla Firefox 3.6 Now Available!

Mozilla | Firefox web browser & Thunderbird email client

Figured we could devote a whole new thread to the actual release...and maybe some cake

That is what the IE guys send them with each release...

Just downloaded it, when it finishes it loads the extractor then says 'The file is corrupt'.
    *shrug*.

The 3.6 beta's have been buming around for a while now.

I tried one, but it offered nothing new that looked like anything I needed, so it's
gone the way of all beta's. (in the trash can)

Why do I suspect that when 3.6 final release is available, Mozilla will announce it in my current version 3.5.7 of Firefox. I'll wait!

Must have just been a faulty download, just tried again and working fine
anyway, still slow start up times compared to Safari, but don't see any difference of speed between them.

Seems to be exactly the same! It should be time for a complete overall but it seems to be the same as previous versions. The only difference I can see is it opens tabs quicker but renders the page the same..

Same old as far as I'm concerned and shall be uninstalled aptly.

Certainly looks that way. Just checked the MD5's for the RC2 and final installers and they are the same.

It was meant to only be a minor improvement over 3.5

Expect a much bigger change in 3.7 (not the GUI) and an overhaul in 4
