IE8 (on Windows 7 at least) had for me at least 2 BIG issues. One was IE was crashing often on certain pages, luckly none of the "pages i visit most" was among them, so i just lived with it. This problem went away in last month or two of "unoffical" updates, that updated a lot of IE components. Other issue was, rendering on some pages and this just got solved with this plugin. So for now i dont have any more "issues" that would bug me.
Also dont think i try to defend IE8 or that im big fan of IE or something like that, but generaly IE suits my needs "just fine" and have no reason to change to something else "if browser comes with OS"
