Lets try the important thing first

Run your antivirus and then download and run malwarebytes.

Once we know that your system is clean, we can help solve the problem.

If that does not solve the problem. We will disable IE and try another browser or we can remove the addons, but lets get the results of the anti virus first.

In any event, we will get you up and running, Pearl

Ok good. A virus would have been the worst problem, but you do not have that.

This may be a browser problem and we will work on that.

Go to the FF site and download a new browser.

I will post back with the address.

Go to this site and download FireFox. Use it and tell me what happens.

The only thing I would have said different is to install Opera:

She will probably choose Firefox, simply because out of the box, Opera is not as appealing to some folks, but that is easily remedied. I noticed the similarity in the phrasing of the links we posted, it is somewhat ironic, because Firefox isn't the safest, and Opera is no longer the fastest, but Opera has alot of features that no other browser has.
