Foxtabs add-on for firefox

I use firefox as my default browser and have a nice add-on called foxtabs. It has a top-sites feature similiar to the feature safari has however unlike safari i can't seem to set it to open as my homepage. Does anyone know if what i am trying to do is possible and if so could be tell me how? thanks in advance.
