Flash causes my browser to not respond
OK, I got this laptop around Christmas. I installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player without a problem and whenever I switch the laptop on everything plays fine.
But after a varying amount of time, my browser goes to 'not responding' when trying to play anything that uses flash. Sometimes it happens right after switching the laptop on, but sometimes it works for several hours before this happens. After this starts though, no flash will work until I restart, and any attempt will result in the browser 'not responding'. For some reason it seems to affect the Volume Mixer as well.
This happens for FF, IE and Chrome so it's not the browser that is at fault.
If it helps, I'm running Windows 7 Premium 64 Bit, and the laptop is a Dell Studio 1555 with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. I don't know what parts of the laptop may be at fault here, so if any more details would be useful please just ask.
I really have no idea what's going on here, it's not a massive problem but it's become quite an annoyance and if anyone could provide any possible insight it would be much appreciated. Sorry if something like this has been asked before or if I'm not being very clear, I didn't find any similar topics when searching.
Thank you!
