Windows 7: explorer 8 wont update web pages

Hi hope you guys can help, I am having a problem with explorer 8 not seeing updated webpages. If I go on to a webpage that has been updated since the last time I had been on it Explorer still shows the old page. The only way I can see the updated page is to clear my cookies and web history and then go on to the webpage to see the new updated page.

I am running Windows 7

I am hoping that this is something simple like a setting that can be changed

I have just checked my settings and it is already set to 'automatically'. Is there any other settings in there that could fix this?

You could try this but you will lose the add-ons which can be easily reinstalled.
Tools>interrnet options>advanced>reset.

If that does not work, you may want to try another browser. Firefox would be a good choice for testing purposes.
