What percentage of time a day are you in the browser?

By in the browser, I mean actively using it.

I'm just wondering how much people actually use other binary desktop applications nowadays.

Right now I spend about 95% of my time in the web browser actively using it. I would be 100% if there were web-based management consoles for a domain, fast 3D games (maybe we will see this with the emergence of OnLive, WebGL, and NativeClient), and a good integrated development environment.

I'm sure there's some things I take for granted with a local desktop environment, but I could probably switch to being exclusively to the cloud easily.

thats obviously a crude estimation of course and if i counted the times i'm using my laptop for one purpose, while watching tv or streaming music through my htpc and playing a game on my desktop it would probably be much lower.

Percentage of Disc To Allocate To Restore Files
I have a 1TB hdd which came compartmentalized when I got my Acer w/ a C and D drive. So far, I've just used the C drive with a total size of 453GB, 347GB being free. The D drive has used 1GB of the 454GB allocated to it. I was wondering if amongst users of this forum there is a consensus or 'rule...

Show speaker volume percentage in tray
Friends, I don't know if this has been asked before. Is there a way to display the volume percentage in the tray notification area instead of just the speaker icon? It would also be nice if headphones/speakers toggled as well when headphones are plugged/unplugged? If this can't be done in the OS...

Browser is restarting all the time
IE is always restarting while I'm on google chrome. I think it may be because there was this thing called connectify what I was downloading and it asked to download IE and I accidentally clicked the box and so I cancelled it. Could that be the reason why?
