Get rid of this for me...

I know, beyond a doubt in my mind, that my computer can install more than 1 program at a time.

Help me get rid of this, so I can install as many programs at once as I want to. Thanks. :)

For what it is wworth there are some apps that must be installed by them selves. What app were you trying to install?

See this article: You receive an "Another installation is in progress" error message when you try to install Office or start an office program

It applies not just to Office installation, but all programs that use the Windows installer.

Not all programs use the Windows installer, however. Many use InstallShield instead, which, I believe, can install multiple programs at the same time.

I was installing iTunes+Quicktime along with the Windows Media Player Plugin at the same time... or trying to anyways.

    I appreciate the quick responses.
