Deep Clean Browsing

Hey,

I was wondering if theres a program/way to deep clean my internet browser. I'm currently using Mozilla Firefox, I have all the settings set to delete everything on exit, but was wondering if theres a deeper way of cleaning out everything.

For some reason websites that are working on my Macbook, won't work on my desktop, I'm not sure if its a cookies/cache problem or what - so I'm wondering how I can make sure everything is gone.

What's your recommendations?

I actually use CCleaner as well. I'll try explaining my problem a little bit better see if you guys can help me out.

I have two computers a Macbook (connected wirelessly) & Desktop (direct connect). I use Firefox on my Desktop, its set to delete/clear browsing history on exit. I've been using Firefox for quite a few years now and never had no problems. So I did a clean install on Windows 7 & have been noticing this problem ever since.

Let's say I go to a certain website on my Desktop, it keeps saying ''page unavailable'' or doesn't load. Now, when I go on my Macbook and try to go on the same website, it works. Only difference is, I tried going on the website while connected to a public WiFi instead of my own. Now when I connect on my Macbook to my network, I get the same problem as my desktop, doesn't load. I'm not sure if this a browser problem or a problem with my router. I'm using Linksys WRT110 (if that helps). Sometimes when I connect to my network, the website will load no problem, but not on the desktop. I can even access the websites on my Blackberry....

I'm not sure if my browser/router or w/e isn't picking up on the domain IP's properly, or its blocking something out....

Still having the same problem, I'm not sure what to think, I'm 90% sure it has something to do with my network/router. Still can't open the websites once I'm connected to my network, once I go WiFi, it seems to work...any ideas...

And this WiFI is on another network right?

But when you go onto your network you can't get any websites.. Is this on both computers or just on your desktop?

The first thing I would try is just to reset your router, Turn it off for 30 seconds and turn it back on..
If that does not work try going to this site 208.67.216.230 (This is just Google) if you are able to load google from that IP address but not from www.google.com then it is your DNS Service.

Hope this Helps..

WORKS PERFECTLY! After editting the settings in the tutorial to OpenDNS - all the websites I've been having problems with are working perfectly fine on my desktop! Will check Laptop later under the same WiFi Network & update you guys!

Thanks Ryan
