It can be hard to manage caches with such tiny sizes if the file sizes are greater than the cache size.
Everything goes into the cache at first, it may get culled later down to 8 megs...

But YES!
I went back to that folder to check the 'hugeness of files?' factor and the
four folders had been CULLED and or winnowed to under 8 megs in the interim.
So the app/IE8 prolly said "sheesh that video is BIG, i'll store it temporarily and
then cull it a bit later", and that's just what it did. Ballooned, then snapped back.
