    Hotmail login

    Hello!

Basically... there's one computer and two persons. We both use hotmail and frequently check out inboxes.
Not that I'm lazy but after a while it gets annoying having to retype the mail address everytime I want to check my mail.

We got FireFox 3.6 as primary browser.
What I noticed when using IE by accident is that it remembers the last used accounts.

Question: Would it be possible to get this multilogon feature in Firefox?

Firefox should be remembering as well. Are you putting a checkmark in "Remember me on this computer"?

Since I'm swedish, are you talking about the "save my password" box? That's the one and only checkbox I have.

If you mean when I'm typing in my mail address, yes I do check it. The thing is, when the other person wants to login, she has to press "login using another account".
If she uses remember me on this computer I'll be forgotten (lol). If she don't, the regular login where you type email and password shows up.

Hmm. Are you using Sign In or another URL?

Again, since I'm swedish I just went to hotmail.se and bookmarked the address that it redirected me to.

But since you're pointing me to hotmail.com, yes. Same thing. It takes me to my login. It just sences my swedish IP.

I see that now. I wasn't aware they were doing it that way. Well I'm not sure what to tell you other than to clear your cache/cookies in Firefox and start fresh with the site and see if it offers the option this time. The option is available.

I clear my cache occasionally, but I'm not really willing to do it ATM. I got too many cookies to crumble.
    Moar lulz.

Shortly, I never got this option in firefox, I always knew it was in Ie but I never thought about it since last time I spotted it.

You can delete cookies pertaining strictly to Hotmail/Microsoft manually. Tools->Options->Privacy->remove individual cookies (It's a link). Then search for all *hotmail* related cookies.

    Okay

I already knew about that, but if you do think it matters, consider it done.

Still no positive news to give.
What's weird is that IE got cache, cookies and all cleared but yet it finds which accounts I've used to log in to hotmail with the latest... at least two months.

The reason I suggested it is because cookies are where this information is generally stored. So if after clearing them you're still being recognized, it's storing a cookie with a different name. Try removing the cookies pertaining to Live. The goal is to get it to forget you so it shows you all options available as if it's your first time to the site. That way no random settings are stuck.
