IE keeps flashing! Since i installed windows 7 32bit, internet explorer keeps flashing and flickering and im not sure why!
Ive updated to tge latest version to no avail!
Im just wondering if anyone knows how to sort this.. Im not sure if its a hardware/software error but this doesnt happen with any other browsers.
Ty for your time

Try several things:
Go to search type turn on and off windows features.
Un check IE8, turn off computer and then boot and recheck the box. You have basically uninstalled (just turned off but it is almost the same) and installed again. Try that.
Does not work try this tool>internet options>advanced>reset. This will remove all add-ons.
Does not work try in safe mode and then report back. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |

Nothing works, then try in safe mode. If it works in safe mode, there is a conflict. We can fix that with a clean boot. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |

Download another browser and lets see if that works. Many have used firefox and were very happy. If it works you will have a browser, while we try to fix IE. We will also know that the problem is not the browser.
Who are these people that are giving this advice? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |
