    Hi Nick,

I don't notice any more ad issues since switching from Firefox, the built in pop-up control and such seems to control things, (or I am just mentally filtering the screen myself :),

You could give it a try, for a few days, and see if you get on with it, if it's not for you then you can simply revert to FF :)

Well Opera doesnt exactly have an adblock, but you could find lists and paste it into there from ad block I forgot how.

But opera has a way to just hide ( not sure if it blocks it from loading at all).
If you right click on a page with ads on it that you don't like to see, select an option [Blocked content] and fire away at the ads you feel are to annoying and click done. While its not the best since it leaves a white box I find it better then nothing for the moment. Also since you pick out the ads to be blocked it loads a bit faster since it saves all this stuff to a file ( i forgot, but like local host but for the browser) so you just have to hide the ads for the places you visit instead of having massive list for places you probably don't even go too.. Makes me happy.

Does the latest version of opera have support for windows 7 jumplist? Does it have a "private mode" like incognito, or inprivate browsing? Those are the two best reasons why I like to use chrome (casual manga reading :)) and ie (actual work-accelerator, onenote shortcut, fav bar, etc. )

Opera essentially started the ball rolling by filling an antitrust complaint with the EU in december 2007 >> Opera files antitrust complaint with the EU I personally think they should be applauded for opening up the market and it is also potentially a lot larger than just desktop P.C's

By making microsoft bundle its enemies in its own operating system? I think that EU and opera went too far. it is absurd for you to promote your competitor's product. You wouldn't see a dell computer from their website that comes with an hp monitor, would you? Do you look for an apple computer and say that you want windows 7 on it? =.= It was too harsh for microsoft. Microsoft should have just shipped a windows 7 E edition, without any browser at all (Like the N and K and KN editions which were laughable).

well the bundle idea was the EU and it is a step too far but i think it was a reaction to Microsoft who threw a strop suggesting they issue the OS with no browser , but this was decided it would cause too much end user confusion and the ballot was the compromise ?
