I've already suggested that as well.

I've pretty much covered all the bases on this, just short of actually scripting the function. I'm looking into that some more later today.

A problem once recognized is half corrected". I feel comfortable that Max and Mr. Shaft have clearly grasped my dilemma. I still regularly receive 10 - 20 pictures embedded in an Outlook e-mail and wish to save them. In Outlook Express I don't recall ever having a problem saving the entire bunch with a few seconds of time and a few clicks. This issue may not be up there with global warming and peak oil but it is a major frustration nonetheless.. especially when it does not need to be this way. This flaw seems such another glaring oversight on the part of MS designers. What are those folks smoking anyway?

At least I feel better that I am not imagining this to be a problem or that I may be missing out on a simple work-around solution. I'm at a dead end here so I'll continue to stay tuned in here and have a few stiff cocktails every time this issue surfaces.

View all file types when saving with "Save as"
Hi, When saving a file using "Save as" (From Office, for example), I can see in the target folder only the files matching the selected type. Is there an option to see all file types immediately, regardless of the selected file type? This would be very helpful, especially when looking for files...

The frustration has been for more than 2 years now. I tried to move the photo folders & files from "My Pictures" to "Pictures" but Window's geniouses did not give us that option. I do not need to click to "My Pictures" since they are ALL MY pictures. So are we stuck with this decision or is there a...

Temp internet cache / pictures only save as .bmp - "untitled"
Hey, I have a few questions about the temp files cache. Here is my problem: I save a lot of pictures onto my HD. I had this problem with XP as well, but am having it again with Win7 Pro 64. After a little while, IE will only allow me to save the files as .bmp and they lose the filename--which...

Remaking "My Music", "My Pictures", "My Videos" folders
hi, OK, this is a weird one. I wanted to move the "My Music", "My Pictures", "My Videos" folders to another HDD. I moved the "My Documents" Folder to this HDD without a problem but the others I accidentally set the whole HDD as the folder (if that makes sense). So now the music, videos and...

can only save pictures as "untitled.bmp"
I upgraded to win7 home premium from vista home premium last Sunday. Today, I try to save a picture and my only choice is titled "unttitled.bmp". Even pictures that I've downloaded and saved before as, for example, 1234.jpg now want to be saved as untitled.bmp. The save as type box only lists .bmp...
