Windows 7 - win7 home, 32bit flash player major issues

my friend has a laptop with Windows 7 home pre 32 they cant download flashplayer with out it saying its currupted, so i downloaded it to my flash drive and installed it for them. but flash games like farmville or youtube videos will not load or work on firefox or chrome. any help would be apriciated as i can not figure it out.
also its the same on a clean install..... ughh what a pain

Did you download flash for IE, of firefox? There is a difference

I multiple I did it for chrome and then for IE after installing i also cleared both browsers cache and it worked for a little bit. I noticed on both the laptop and desktop that you tube videos where choppy as if some frames of the video did not download, they are both running on wireless. so between corrupted downloads and bad videos im now wondering if its there router. o the fail.
