Firefox 3.6.2 Released

    its worth noting that you will need to reset your browser to start the install, i was wondering why mine hadnt patched itself but it did once I restarted, i know its standard FF policy to restart but i was being a bit thick

    FYI .. The new .. (experimental to date) .. IE Tab Add-On works in FF 3.6.2.
    I sure was missing it.

    You mean that part where it says, "close all other applications before installing" ?
    Don't feel bad....I have plenty of moments where I am the one that is thick.

    actually that didnt come up. it downloaded it in the background and didnt tell me, (or i closed it without looking at it thinking it was the normal download box)
    was wondering why it hadnt patched it, so i just thought "hmm maybe it needs a restart to start downloading" but when i restarted it had already downloaded it was just waiting to install

    I hadn't even noticed that IETab didn't work anymore with FF 3.6. I haven't needed it though.....haven't been to any MS-only sites, I guess.

    Already updated this morning to fix the critcal flaw and the next one due in April before the 3.7 coming up later this year... Opera released 10.51 updated yesterday as well...

    Just been prompted by FF to update -- done, and no problems at all with slowness here. Neither during browsing or on initial start-up, which i know many folk do complain about
