Content of emails is changing without any reason !
Hallo
I changed operating system last week. From Win XP to Win 7. Used to work
with Outlook Express during about 6 years at full satisfaction.
I could transfer most of my emails automatically with export/import features
of Microsoft software from OE to WLM.
But I suddenly discover 1 very big problem (bug ???)
I am used to work with several folders and subfolders, and hereby go to several levels deep.
Such as :
Saved mails
Companyname
Projectname
Date of action
Department
Activity
Name of patient
Different emails
1
2
3
etc
So sometimes maps/folders can go several levels deep.
When I check emails, and e.g. 4 mails must be copied to the sublevel
"Different emails", I can move those emails (with drag and drop), an I get no error message, but all the emails are modified by the system: subject remains intact, but body of the message is the same in all emails !!! So text of my saved emails is
changed while being copied, and therefore corrupt ! All emails in that subfolder get the same text (also attachments if present) as the 1st one received and copied to that spedific subfolder.
Is this problem known ? Is there a limitation to the number of how deep
sublevels of subfolders that can be created ?
What's happening ? This is a real headache as now I lost all the contents of the emails I copied into that one folder, as they all changed to the same content of email 1 ....
When using the export (Outlook Express) and import (WindowsLive Mail) I
also discovered that mails only were read in by Live Mail up into what I
think was sublevel 5
At first sight everything is working perfectly (I synchronize my email
accounts at hotmail.com, gmail.com and
my traditional provider telenet.be in
Belgium) but when looking into detail, the text of my emails can be corrupted
as changed without any notice, warning neither error message.
Who can help me ? What am I doing wrong ?
Kind regards
