hosts files:
at times malware maps host because the hosts file represents an attack vector for malicious software. The file can be hijacked, for example, by adware, computer viruses, trojan horse software, and may be modified to redirect traffic from an intended destination.Certain malware edit the HOSTS file so that when a user attempts to access a certain legitimate Web site, the browser is instead redirected to a malware site.
check to see if any entry related to google etc is there or not ..post a screen shot
Here is a picture of the hosts file (all the same IP so yes I think it has been hijacked?)

Also, I just wanted to say thanks for helping me out so far :)
Yes, it has been hijacked.
Yust delete all those lines with links to the fake google site. This will help you go to google again.
The question remains, which program caused all this.
I can't delete the google and yahoo related entries. Here's basically what happens:
1. I try to save
2. A window comes up AUTOMATICALLY asking me where on my computer I want to save
3. I choose the same location as the host file
4. It says I don't have permission, I need to be admin (BUT I AM A ADMIN).
5. So I try to overwrite the original host file and a message comes up saying "access denied"
hi....right click notepad from starup menu and select.....run as administartor the rest remains as mentioned earlier.
I can't =/
Thank god!! I used the option: restore from a previous version and it worked! Google works perfectly fine for me now! Thank you very much! :)
