    Hello Bill,

You may have a bad IE8 add-on or setting causing this. See if resetting IE8 may help. Afterwards, you can enable your IE8 add-ons one at a time testing inbetween to help see which one may be responsible if it crashes right after enabling it.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    just my 2 cents

I have posted a few threads about IE 8 getting slow or stopping on a few sites.
I have been offered many potential fixes here & via Google search....I know they have worked for others but they have not for me.
I have a very Clean IE8, just a few add-ons (all of which I have used for years)
Things like Java, Flash, & Spybot is about all.
All of them seem to work with FF*, Chrome, Opera.
Programs that I have heard might cause a problem I have also used for years & also do not cause issues with my other browsers...
    Skype, Team Viewer, etc.
All browsers have issues, for me Chrome & Acrobat 9 Pro, FF* & high end Flash/PHP integration(sometimes).
Microsoft has to figure this out.
Is it a 32/64 bit issue, who knows but there are a lot of people w/ issues.
    Just my 2 cents
