    No Scroll Bar on Receivers PC

    OS = Windows 7 Ultimate
    Browser = Firefox

    A couple months ago I upgraded to Windows 7 and at the same time upgraded my e-mail client to Incredimail 2 (Previous version was not Windows 7 compatible). Ever since then, when I send out e-mails larger than one screen, most of the "receivers" do not get a scroll bar and are unable to see the complete document.

    At first I thought it was was Incredimail but yesterday I tried an experiment. With the help of a friend, I sent him the same e-mail twice--once using Incredimail and the second time using Hotmail. The results on his system were the same--NO SCROLL BAR. So now I am wondering if it's a Windows-7 problem or a software conflict problem.

    Remember this is only happening on the "Receivers'" PC. I have asked the receiver to try using the down-arrow key. This did NOT work. I also tried using IE instead of Firefox. Again, the problem exist.

    Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

    Welcome!

    Try sending the message from another computer in the same network. Then we can cross off your computer from the list of possible causes.

    Then, try sending the same message from another email account on your computer, still in the same network.

    Let us know what happens. It may be your computer, network, ISP, or email account.

    I have actually tried both. "Try sending from another ..." One of the e-mails I sent, I had the receiver "reply" to the message. When I received it, that e-mail had the scroll bar.

    "Same message from..." I tried that. My primary e-mail is Incredimail but I also tried Hotmail. Same results.

    I also forgot to mention in the original post, that I also tried sending the message using Incredimail in Safe-Mode. No difference.

    Try using a different email address. I suggest creating a Gmail address for the purpose of this test.

    I just got feedback from a friend who I am using to test this problem.

    I used Gmail to send the message. He received the message (it was a series of pictures). It contained the Scroll Bar and Picture Boxes. The actual graphics were not there.

    I did the above and still have the problem.

    Let me thank everyone for their help. Since this problem occurs only when I send e-mails, it takes some time to get feedback from the person I am sending it to. This is the reason for the delay in me replying to your suggestions. Please bear with me and hopefully we can resolve this problem.

    Hello:

    I don't know if this will help you in a search for a solution to my problem. I just got a message from a friend telling me, the message when received on his iPhone worked (he got the scroll bars) when he looked at the message on his desktop (no scroll bars).
