Minefield

I have been trying out Minefield which is basically Firefox 3.6a1pre, it is running extremely well and seems super quick.

It also works perfectly with the new window preview on the new taskbar.

Has anyone else tried it? You can grab it from:
Index of /pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk

It's not working with all my add-ons but I'm sure it won't be long.

How much resources is it using up? 1, 2, 3, 4 tabs open?

I have tried minefield on and off and its pretty good.

You might like to know that there is actually a native 64-bit version which you can download from: http://wiki.mozilla-x86-64.com/Firefoxownload

It's not bad at all, with five sessions open, each with a couple of tabs, it's ranging from around 60-80meg of RAM and jumping from 01-02 processor usage.

I loaded microsoft.com, apple.com, this site.com, mi6.co.uk, and gateworld.net just to be sure.

I have the 32bit Minefield, and I run Shiretoko 3.5beta4pre nightly releases as my default Fx (and keep 3.1b3 handy for emergencies).

Other than some addon issues, it works well, but I still use Shiretoko are my default b/c I have always used it....

Does Netflix w/Silverlight work on Minefield x64?
Has anyone been able to get Silverlight to work with Minefield x64? It's installed and works fine with FF 4.0beta11 but not with Minefield 4.0b12pre. I understand Minefield 4.0b12pre is not an official release but maybe an about/tweak will allow Silverlight to work and show Netflix instant...

Norton deleted Minefield
Hey guys, I have another odd problem. I was updating Minefield to the latest nightly, and restarted it. Then, Norton flashes a small pop-up at the bottom of the screen saying it removed firefox.exe from C:\Program Files\Minefield\firefox.exe. It said it was acting suspicious....:sarc: Any...

Firefox 3.6Pre Oct. 25 nightly build seems to work. My AddOns work with it(with version checking disabled of course) and it also supports Windows 7 Jump List. All the previous nightly builds I had trouble with my AddOns. Looks like they are making rapid headway now. Here's the link: Index of...
