    FireFox 3.7 Alpha

I just found this [link] and decided to post it. FireFox's 3.7 Alpha 5 lets you throw your tabs on the top of the browser window, right below the title bar, like Chrome. I've been wanting Mozilla to do that for a while now. xD

It's looking good so far, but they really need to remove the title bar for it to be on par w/ Chrome. Tabs on top AND flush w/ top of screen when maximized is what makes the feature great in Chrome (allows less precise clicking, if you're like me & don't switch tabs using key shortcuts).

Awesome, thanks for the tip Airbot! Is there any way you know of to remove the title bar though?

Anybody know when the 3.7 beta will come out? I don't really care to download Alpha software, and like to wait for the beta. Also, I really wish Firefox 3.7 would focus more on performance than design. Chrome, Opera, and even the latest IE 9 platform still out perform it in sunspider benchmarks.

Basically the only reason I don't use those is the convenience of Mozilla Weave. I was using an Xmarks account across various browsers & machines until I discovered that Weave syncs browser history, which Xmarks does not do.

Removing the title bar in Mozilla Firefox - the simple way.

Thus far I am pleased with the way 3.7 (should be 4.0 when it hits beta, IIRC) is progressing. It's still too experimental for some of my add-ons, but it is snappy.
