How can I open pps files from e-mail with system 7 ?
When I had vista I could open powerpoint files that came in my e-mail but now I can't with 7. I tried downloading Powerpoint from MS but it is only good for Vista.  | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell 546 Inspiron desktop

Hi there,
Did you download Powerpoint Viewer 2007, from here? If not, do that first. If it still isn't working, set the .exe to run in Compatibility Mode for Vista SP2 and let us know if that helps.

Windows Outreach Team Thanks, I did download it from there and it is compatible with Win 7 but I finally figured out I had to save the PPS files and bring them into PowerPoint Viewer instead of merely trying to open them from my e-mail. | | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell 546 Inspiron desktop

I'm running Windows 7 Pro, and I have MSPPt 2007 installed with correct associations.
First, I backed up my registry (just in case), then I followed Brink's suggestion (#2) on this page - VISTA :: - and it worked like a charm!
