Well If it says everything will be reseted im assuming yes but if you can and dont have that many type all of your bookmarks, or copy the link to a word or word pad or notepad document. If you have a lot I don't no think thats your only option if you don't want to loose them, not endless it doesnt delete them.

To be safe open Firefox and under Bookmarks select Organize Bookmarks. At the top select Import/Backup and Backup your Bookmarks to the default .json file. After resetting you can import them back if needed. You can also use the Safe Mode and reset what you want.

NO - the Safe Mode is used for resetting the parts of Firefox you want by checking the blocks. Under the Organize Bookmarks is where you save and then restore the bookmarks.

The easiest way to reset firefox: backup your bookmarks, saved passwords, etc... Start firefox in "profile" mode, delete the default profile, create a new profile, set the new profile as default, start firefox, restore whatever you've backed up earlier.

Have a backup of EVERYTHING you need related to your Firefox. Once you have the backup, close ALL FIREFOX instances, then follow this guide to start Firefox in "profile mode".
