Windows 7: IE 8 not showing history

IE8 not showing history of sites i visit using the drop down arrow anymore.

Did you delete browsing history, recently?
Disc cleanup or any other maintenance?

i had alot of problems with Ie 8 recently. It was showing italics on web pages so i uninstalled it re-installed it. done everything you can think of. But it is a simple fix that not many people will know you have to download ariel font and reinstall it. Restart browser and thats you sorted. When i was looking for it some sites want to charge you £30 for it. Do you know where to get free fonts ? as i just happened to stumble upon it. Oh i sorted my problem with system restore but then the web was italic again. Had to reinstall ariel again. Thanks mate

Have you given consideration to using another brower. Chrome gets a lot of great reviews.
