IIS Virtual SMTP help needed please!

I'm sorry for the title description, it was the best I could think of lol.
OK, my problem is that the company I work for use a Virtual SMTP server which runs under IIS7. We have a number of customers who are saying they don't receive our emails.

We've looked in the logs and can see the following:-
Code:
2010-05-17 15:34:44 xx.xx.xx.xx OutboundConnectionResponse SMTPSVC1 MPLWSPR03 - 25 - - 250+2.6.0++<83B9F3F3FAFF4D119158C5F75EBFF919@domain.local>+Queued+mail+for+delivery 0 0 84 0 5953 SMTP - - - -
xx.xx.xx.xx is the IP address of the 3rd party email server.

My question is:-
Where is this "Queued for delivery" message coming from?
Is it OUR email server unable to deliver the email or is it the 3rd party email server telling us it's received the email but has queued it to delivery it "internally"?

The full conversation is shown below FYI:

xx.xx.xx.xx = 3rd party email server IP address
yy.yy.yy.yy = Our email server IP address

Code:

From the connect log it looks like (i think ) your server thinks there is no mail to be sent. The other server is simply ack'ing it.

Do any other accounts, users, exhibit this? If no it is local to the machine.

Thank you for the reply zigzag3143 but he way this is set up there is only a single user that sends the emails but I have seen this message on multiple recipients. I think on one day we saw over 1,000 instances in the logs!

It's the target email server's IP address in the log file that's throwing me but surely if it was OWN machine it would show OUR IP - but on the other hand, are there really that many email servers that are queuing their messages from us?!
