Windows 7: Keystrokes lost in Webforms – Citrix/Microsoft?

Hello everyone,

I have been experiencing this problem for months. I would appreciate any insight into what I could do to fix it.

Something is causing a delay in my keystrokes being logged by online forms in IE8. I type at a very fast speed, so I notice when my keystrokes get lost. I can type all day in Word, and Outlook, and even OneNote, and not lose a single keystroke. However, when I am completing forms online, there seems to be something between me and the form completion that is not fast enough to catch all of my keystrokes.

Today I was searching the Internet for solutions to this, and I came across something that was posted on the Citrix Website regarding Citrix Password Manager causing these issues. [Only in Webforms/password fields, and only when typing above about 20 words per minute.] Then I remembered seeing the Citrix name for some reason in the past. I think it was a support agent accessing my computer with one of their programs, and I had to install the software to do that, OR, I read on Wikipedia that Microsoft and Citrix share some code, and that it has been used in various Windows builds, so maybe it was just a Microsoft Windows update with Citrix code in it.

Could there be something with the Citrix Password Manager having this problem, related to my computer also having this problem? The poster on the Citrix Password Manager forums experienced this problem starting around the same time I did, and it was resolved with an update to his Citrix Password Manager software. Since I do not directly use Citrix, it is just a hunch that this might be my issue as well.

For what its worth, this problem is happening on both my desktop and notebook. Can anyone give me some clues as to why this may be happening? Your thoughts are most welcome!
