    Windows Live Mail Error

I'm hoping someone can help me or point me in the right direction. I tried to open Windows Live Mail last night and suddenly got this error.

WLM could not be started. The app was unable to load the WLM message store. WLM was unable to locate it's message database. If you've moved the DB path to a new location, click OK to reset the db path to that location. Otherwise click cancel to proceed, any existing messages found will be available under orphaned accounts. (0x00000000. 2)

I click cancel and then this message pops up.
WLM could not be started. The app was unable to open WLM message store. your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. (0x80070002)

I have almost 425GB Free on the HD so I doubt that's the issue.

I'm not sure what happened. The computer did not shut down abnormally and previously about a few hours ago I opened it just fine. So I'm not sure what caused the error or how to fix it. When I go into uninstall WLM I can't find it or Windows Live program to uninstall that. Windows live came pre-installed with the computer.

I've done searches on these specific errors but they are always somewhat different with different error codes and mostly on Visa machines. So I was hoping that someone here might have an answer. I did try deleting the WLM message database to see if it would fix it, and it hasn't. I still get the same error.

Hope someone can help or point me in the right direction.

    Thanks
    Mel

It is listed as part of windows live essentials. If you plan to uninstall you may want to use this:
Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

It is considered the best by many at the Forum. The free version works only with 32 bit

It may be best to uninstall and then install it, again.

Thanks for the reply. I found a workaround where you find your app folder where Windows Live Mail is located and deleted it. Then reinstalled. Then what I did is copy the files back to that new folder and now everything works as it should.

    Thanks!
