Guys, thanks much for the quick response but CCleaner didn't take care of the problem. I ran it, then went to
www.cnbc.com and it took me to the mobile version so I reran CCleaner, checking everything except cleaning free space. After it was done, I shut down the computer and restarted it. No luck; I'm still taken to the CNBC mobile website.
My sound card's built into the motherboard and uses a Sigma Tel High Definition CODEC driver so I doubt that it's from Creative.
I'll run a registry cleaner and see if that helps.
Edit: I downloaded Eusing Registry Cleaner and ran that. No luck. I still go to the mobile version of CNBC. I used to go to the normal website, but I'm going to guess that one of the Windows updates changed something that makes CNBC recognize my computer as a mobile device.
Any else got any ideas?
