If you are talking about spam, there is only one solution.

Have 2 email addys, one for your friends, and only them. Do not post it on the web or for any reason

Have a second for web purposes.

Sorry that I misunderstood your question, but I think that the adivice that I gave you is timeless. A great way to prevent spam.

    Hello Layback Bear.

If you are referring to the emails about threads you've subscribed to, it's in your UsreCP, have a look at the snip below.

If you are talking about Spam, I suggest you close the email account that is giving you grief. Then see step 4 below.

Things for you to remember in the future -
1.Stop posting your e-mail address on a public forum or website. It is estimated that 95% of all junk e-mail is caused by a person publicly disclosing his or her e-mail address.

2.Avoid: Popular newsgroups - robots often scour these lists for addresses.
Chat rooms like Yahoo Chat etc- spammers or spambots are actively mining in popular chat rooms.

3.Use spam blocking tools. Most webmail providers offer them, or you can download one.

4.Use disposable addresses to identify and shake off sources of spam.
Have one main account, and never, ever give this address to anyone, even your friends. All they need to do is send you an innocent e-card to get you back on a spam mailing list.

One thing I just started doing again today was using a Pop3 alert program. I buy stuff online like most of us, and end up with a lot of marketing stuff in the mailbox. But I don't want to filter all the stuff out because it may be a notice something has shipped or whatnot.

The freebie Pop3 alert is good because you just look through the list and delete the crap right on the server. Course it's only good if you're talking maybe less than 50 emails a day. If you're getting buried that's another matter.

Right now I'm using PopMan 1.3.1. Free and works fine on Vista64. It claims even if you preview it will only display text parts of the mail, not any html, never mind script or images. I haven't gotten that far. Just deleting the crap before it gets to my machine is good for now. :)
