Fresh install, internet drops.

I've been playing online games such as World of Warcraft, and was sending and recieving packets, but when I open my web browser, firefox or IE, it will not load page, as if I'm not connected to the internet. I have to power cycle the router to be able to see web pages again. This has been happening since I reformatted my hard drive and freshly installed windows 7, a few days ago. Thanks
