    Not bad, I guess. Missed perfect by 18 points.

    You must have Chrome. Apparently it's;

    Chrome 142

    Opera 102

    Firefox 101

    IE8 19

    No wonder IE 9 is all about HTML 5 because they need to do a whole lot of work after IE 8 terrible score.

    I dont believe this is a real test, it gives IE9 the same score as IE8 and IE7.

    It's also weird that with setting html5.enable to true (which is html5 support in ff) in about:config with Firefox, the score doesn't change at all. So I also have my doubts.

    There is also a beta of the test, which is slightly more comprehensive.

    The main reason firefox 3.6.x doesn't improve once HTML5 has been enabled is because of the HTML parser which originates from 2009. see this post:

    Firefox 4: the HTML5 parser – inline SVG, speed and more ✩ Mozilla Hacks – the Web developer blog

    If you use a nightly Firefox Trunk Build it will score 106 on the standard test and 171 on the beta with 6 bonus points.

    Yes the score goes up on the Beta, but it's out of 300 instead of the originals 160. Might be more of a curiousity then a valid representation. A Guy
