mutiple tabs open simultaneously... please help
guys please help whenever i use i.e or firefox,multiple tabs keep opening at the same time till i kill the browser process.tried eset antivirus scan and malwarebyte
but without any luck. thanks in advance.

try mozilla FF Safe Mode: go to the start menu
Type in (dont press enter) "Mozilla"
In the results above, you will see safe mode
Enter that. you will have an options window pop-up to select what you want to allow.

Select (I think) to restore defaults and clear cache dont delete your bookmarks. You can also disable your add-ons in case one of them is causing the issue.

Ouch sorry to hear. Do you have an Antivirus Program? if so, run it to make sure this isn't a virus.
If you don't then get one of the AV's suggested on this forum. I use Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes.

If you aren't experiencing any other issues, then you might want to try backing up all your bookmarks (using export) then re-installing Firefox.
If the problem persists, we can try repairing your installation of Windows. this will replace key files that could be acting up.

yes i did antivirus scan with eset and malwarebyte but no luck and the problem happens with ie also so it's not just firefox.
what do u mean exsactly by repairing windows? the option when u insert the instalation cd?
