Mozilla Thunderbird supports IMAP, as do all major email applications (Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Eudora, Pegasus etc).

Hello !!
Here is the Link .. Thunderbird supports IMAP IMAP - MozillaZine Knowledge Base
And here is the Microsoft article on sending E-mail from Word with FAQ How to send a Word document as e-mail in Word
Hope this helps,
Captain
Thanks posters ..not sure what the problem is..when Word takes the 'send' command it opens Thunderbird and nothing...not link etc...not sure why..
Hi all!
My email sometimes comes up MAPI missing (not IMAP)
By the way I gave up on Mozilla 3 because of the send mail probs- I believe it was better when it was Mozilla2 ( that was before I bought my current machine).
My machine actually re-installs Word 2007 after I try to hit the send button, (and the whole thing hangs until I force it with task manager)
The only success I have had is that I create a word 2007 or 2003 doc on the desktop and save/close and name it.
I then open Live Mail email form, address it, click the attach button on the menu bar (a paperclip).
Then locate the file/doc to be sent, select it, then click open. The file now appears in the attach box in the message header. Now hit the send button .
I cannot include it in the body of the email message no matter what I do.
I cannot understand what MS is doing that can be considered an improvement. Nor can I understand why there is not just one person/department that can answer a quick question on the phone. I've now spent 3 months of total wasted time trying to solve it. Bring back XP and Outlook Express - worry free.
