    Shockwave flash player has become un-responsive


    Hi folks,

    This is my first time in this forum... I am having problem with my flash players..... suddenly day before I was prompted to do an update of the adobe player 10.1 and shock wave 11.5 and there is goes been 2 days tried everything but couldnt get to work flash on Google chrome, Firefox as well as IE8....

    Tried uninstalling using the flash uninstaller .... and then re-installing it back again but keep getting this msg
    " the player has become un-responsive- Shockwave flash" and keep getting that circle and have to close down the browser... any suggestions welcome

    Hi, Dino.

    I suggest that you uninstall FlashPlayer once again from your computer using Adobe's program located at How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control. Following that, check Add/Remove programs to ensure there are no other instances of Flash Player installed.

    Shutdown/restart your computer and then install the latest version of Flash Player for IE and alternate browsers:


    After the installation is complete, verify the Flash Player version for each browser installed at About Flash Player page.
